WELCOME TO THE 2011 YOUNG RIDER FESTIVAL
FOCUSING ON OUR EQUESTRIAN YOUTH
IN PREPARATION FOR THEIR FUTURE
12th - 15th April 2011

Since 1995 The Young Rider Festival has been a proving ground for competitive young equestrians, providing opportunities for young riders to compete against peers their own age rather than against senior riders. The event has grown from grassroots to become a prestigious national level show. In 2011 we are pleased to be hosting the Hamag Para Equestrian Championships.

Over 400 riders compete in their choice of dressage or jumping. Competitors aged from ten to twenty-one years old participate across a range of levels from Novice to Olympic. The Hamag Young Rider Festival is one of the largest competitions in the state.

Spectators, riders and support crews are well catered for with a trade village and food court. Dressage and Jumping is held in the comfortable indoor arenas, as well as on the 10 outdoor arenas. The atmosphere is one of encouragement with sportsmanship held in high regard.

Conducted over four days at Werribee Park, National Equestrian Centre, it is a great place to catch up with friends, shop in the Trade Village and enjoy the various competitions. Presented by "Hamag" and supported by a number of dedicated sponsors the 2011 Hamag Young Rider Festival is bound to be a wonderful event.
